How we research
Dates, heights and travel times are checked against official, operator and reference sources and reviewed regularly. Tour ratings and review counts come directly from GetYourGuide; hotel scores from Trip.com. Where a figure moves around — ticket prices, timetables, the reopening of a cable car — we give an approximate figure or say plainly that you should check, rather than pretending to a precision that does not exist.
Where we express an opinion, it is an opinion. We tell you when a product is new and unreviewed, when a day trip starts in another city, and when the free option is the best one.
